Too often, the strength, resilience, and positive impact of black men go unnoticed or overshadowed by negative stereotypes. It’s time to change the narrative and uplift the black men in our lives who serve as pillars of love, support, and inspiration.
I was recently inspired to write the poem “My Muse. A Vibe.” as a tribute to a black man who I deeply care about. The audio recording of the poem has been shared on Facebook and TikTok, and I’ve received messages from others who resonated with its message of love and appreciation for black masculinity.
I am asking black women to share your heartfelt messages, stories, and expressions of gratitude for the black men who have touched your lives in meaningful ways. Whether it’s a father, brother, partner, friend, or mentor, let’s honor their contributions and celebrate the qualities that make them truly special.
Share how they’ve empowered you, supported your dreams, or simply been a constant source of love and positivity in your life. Your messages can be in the form of poems, personal anecdotes, or words of affirmation and encouragement.
Together, we can create a powerful collection of tributes that will inspire black men everywhere and remind them of their worth, resilience, and the profound impact they have on our communities.
Fill out and submit the form. Your submission will be included in an upcoming publication dedicated to uplifting black men. (Before submitting the form, please double-check your email address.)
Let’s shower our black men with the love, appreciation, and respect they deserve. Join us in this celebration of black masculinity, and let’s create a space where their voices, stories, and achievements are amplified and cherished.
